Flyball!

adg_homepage-flyball.gifA six-week class for you and your dog
to learn the fundamentals of flyball. To learn more about this fast-past, exciting sport, click here.

There are no training prerequisites for this class, although an understanding of clicker training is helpful. Once you've completed the class, join our flyball team, or just come for weekly practice and fun! The Schedule page details the upcoming class schedule, but please contact the Gym for information on pricing, required health documents, and any scheduling changes.

Jump Class

Our Jump Class utilizes the "Clothier jump chute", allowing the dog to work independent of handler, without being hampered by a leash. The dog develops a natural rhythm to his or her jumping, learning to use his body properly, and equally well on both sides. Through practice, proper jump style becomes habit. Jump training develops muscles, increasing strength and balance, heightening the dog's physical abilities, conditioning and endurance. Proper jump style can be taught at any age, regardless of your dog's level of experience or training.

Whether you want to improve your dog's jumping ability for agility or flyball, improve endurance and strength, or are looking for a fun way to exercise your dog over the winter, Jump Class is fun, relaxed and good exercise. Jump Class is an 8 week session. Your dog learns rhythm, develops strength and balance, problem solving and increasing skills. The Schedule page includes our Jump Class schedule, or contact us for more information.

Fly-Agility
Combining the sports of Flyball and Agility
this fun activity is a newcomer to the Dog Sports line-up. Our Fly-Agility team has performed during the first period break at Monarchs Hockey games.
